Nokia 6680 - Nokia Series 60 Smartphone ***Written for Renny

So, this is the Nokia 6680. I know, many will realize this is not a latest phone from Nokia...but I am interested to write about this phone as 1 of my blog reader use this phone...heh..
Ok, this model was sold worldwide sometime in 2005...so, it has been almost 2 years this model in the market...Of course, there is a lot of feedback that we could collect from all the users...
First come to its design, most of the users feel that this model probably the best looking Nokia's Series 60. It suits both young users and businessmen. The keypad is convenient and provides very decent tactile feedback...but the silver strips on both sides of the phone easily get dirty with your fingerprints..it is true?...heh...
The phone support fast data transmission in 3G (up to 128/384kbps UL/DL). It also support other 3G services, including 2 way video calls with the use of built in VGA camera located in front side of the phone. It also has another camera at the back of the phone (1.23MP, 6x digital zoom) and hidden under a sliding cover. Just slide the cover down and you're ready to shoot pictures and record video clips.
This model has 20MB operating memory with only 9MB available to store pictures or clips. But you could expand it using MMC cards and the best thing is you could take out and put new MMC card without having it to be turned off.
Nokia 6680 can play the MP3 file with clean and good quality but don't expect to hear too much bass with the headset. The screens (178 x 208 pixel, 262thousand colors) has a very good quality, with a very good contrast and brightness controlled by a sensor. Battery life can last long till a few days even when making real use of most of the phone functions.
Photo Editor provides basic edit functions like crop, rotate, autofix(darken, brighten, balance), insert frame, add text and Greeting card. With Image Print, you could print your pictures on compatible Bluetooth printers (XpressPrint) or even using USB cable with PictBridge printers. Using Video editor, you could add transitions, visual effect and sound to your video clips and you could combine multiple clips in one - all through directly from the phone itself.
With Movie director, you can create "muvees", video clips sytle containing video + music + text. Just select your prefered style and let the program edit the clip automatically...heh...Frankly speaking even with this so much sophitiscated functions in a phone, how many people will make use of this functions 100%...Most of the people use their phone to take call and make call and only a few times I use my phone to take photo...hehe...Anyway, this just a quick review of the model...
Price? Hmmm...In Malaysia, for this model the price is around RM900++...around USD250++...
